A sad, sad ending to his story. A life that could have been so wonderful was ruined due to drugs. Whether or not Jeff Conaway really did attempt suicide, it seems his body just could not take the abuse anymore

The 60-years old American actor Jeff Conaway, best known for his roles in the 1970s hit television series Taxi and blockbuster film Grease, died Friday morning after more than two weeks in a coma. He died Friday morning at a Los Angeles-area hospital. He directed the 1992 film Bikini Summer II. Conaway’s family took him off life support after doctors decided there was nothing they could do to revive him.
His manager Phil Brock confirmed to TheWrap that Conaway died at 10:30 a.m. on Friday.
Doctors had said there was no hope for his recovery and his family decided to take him off life support on Thursday. In March 2010, shortly after the death of actor Corey Haim, Conaway told E! News that he had warned Haim about dying due to prescription drug abuse.
